Yeah I eventually figured out The River Wild after years of people asking what it was, so I'm glad that it's now been mentioned in a number of threads because that information existed here first (publicly) before it traveled to any other part of the internet.
But I still don't know / can't remember where the opening / closing dialogue for either The Enemy or Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous originate from, at least not right now. Those vocals have been asked about for years and years, each probably since their initial release.

Nah, with the The Enemy, I'm / we're referring to the unknown quote from the closing vocals (the opening ones in Lifestylez), but yeah, obviously Preem sampled O.C. for The Enemy.

I wrote that super vague and lazy so I can see how you could think I was asking about the opening to The Enemy rather than the closing. But yeah I meant within the realm of unknown / potential film vocals. I still get asked about that one a lot, probably second only to the one from the title track on Lifestylez.

Oh yeah, samples definitely get discovered / found out decades later all the time. I'm sure somebody out there (other than producers and beatmakers) knows some answers already it's just a matter of when we learn about 'em.

Yeah, Liquid Swords (the album) definitely samples from Shogun more than once.

It's a great samurai movie, maybe the blood really resembles ketchup but it doesn't mean the movie is bad, but I haven't seen any of theese other movies, exept for The River Wild, I catched it on TV right on the part where he says that "Where are you? Oh there you are" shit, but The Mack and Five Deadly Venoms sound like interesting movies, the later probably being kung-fu movie, maybe.
