Yes my site has been updated once again with yet another collection. This one is of interviews from those who knew L (not from L himself) as well as radio tributes that've been gathered from various blogs and sites over the years (and thanks to I think it was BigBilly who gave me the Fat Joe interview, correct me if I'm wrong). Since some of the files are quite large they are all separate/individual links.

Born in the Opposite World: Interviews & Tributes

01 - Fat Joe Speaks on The Enemy and Big L (32 CBR, 01:29, 415 KB)
http://sharebee.com/aa6dc617
02 - O.C. '96 Mixmaster Show Radio Interview (96 CBR, 18:50, 8.68 MB)
http://sharebee.com/b3e53fd4
03 - Shyheim’s Furious Anger and Interview (VBR, 04:14, 4.42 MB)
http://sharebee.com/7c9a0258
04 - Max Glazer’s ’99 Tribute Hosted by Tim Westwood (256 CBR, 47:36, 87.2 MB)
http://sharebee.com/88b158de
05 - Stretch & Bobbito’s ’99 Tribute (128 CBR, 4:02:42, 222.0 MB)
http://www.zshare.net/download/670635732d9b9fff/
06 - DJ Premier's '08 Tribute Hour One (192 CBR, 1:02:11, 85.4 MB)
http://sharebee.com/97479a9b
07 - DJ Premier's '08 Tribute Hour Two (192 CBR, 1:00:26, 83.0 MB)
http://sharebee.com/b1c7cd68
08 - Lord Finesse Underground Railroad Interview (96 CBR, 22:05, 15.2 MB)
http://sharebee.com/f0592f97
09 - Lord Finesse Interview (192 CBR, 09:57, 13.7 MB)
http://sharebee.com/8dc69519
10 - Fat Joe Juan Epstein Interview (128 CBR, 52:05, 47.7 MB)
http://sharebee.com/3654d34c
11 - Lord Finesse's '04 Tribute on W.K.C.R. (128 CBR, 1:28:06, 82.9 MB)
http://sharebee.com/05562efd

If you have something you want to add it has to be something that isn't already here yet of course, something that either falls into the catergory of L tribute or non-L but L-related interview. If it's an L interview that somehow nobody has, post it in the Tommy Gibbs thread. If it's just a shout out, mention or flow homage like Proof's Ebonics: http://sharebee.com/9122fb34 or Juice's Gone But Not Forgotten: http://sharebee.com/7e79624b then it doesn't belong in this group either, it goes in the mention thread.

Other material not included is the Smoothe Da Hustler interview, but here is the preview that Soobax/Intellectual put up on the old boards: http://sharebee.com/1b006f39

And as for something with nothing new but that a lot of you haven't heard in its entirety, here's the complete Stretch & Bobbito show for October 28th, '93 (the day the Don't Front Freestyle was recorded). Like I said, all the L/Gruff talking/rhymes have been heard/posted already, this is just the full/extended show:

Stretch & Bobbito October 28th, ’93 Hour One:
http://sharebee.com/7f06a5ad
Stretch & Bobbito October 28th, ’93 Hour Two:
http://sharebee.com/4af4022e

The Shyheim track is from some DJ mixtape mix, I don't have the interview by itself. If anybody has the track and prefers just that, I can fix it.

My only other request (other than that of more interviews/tributes being posted here) is that the Stretch & Bobbito '99 Tribute is huge both in file size and duration and not all of the show is based around L. So, to help remedy this, if anybody would like to listen to this and then chop it down to a manageable size (while keeping all the L stuff intact) that would help greatly as well.

Thanks and enjoy.

Maybe you can't open the link for the '99 Tribute because you tried to copy and paste it? Just click it, it works.

And I know by posting an example of what I didn't want that would confuse people. I probably shouldn't have done it but I wanted to post those tracks and knew just by mentioning them that they would be requested anyway. Only the first seven are up on the site, the rest is just for you guys as it contains nothing new in regards to L. I'm just looking to add tributes and interviews. Anything more than that and it snowballs into shout outs and that's too big of a project for even me to take on (at least for the foreseeable future). That said, this is sick, thanks.

Aside from tributes and mentioning in songs, is anyone aware of what any artists have said about Big L in interveiws or even if they have met them in person. Im sure I read a Lord Finnese interview once where he predicted L's success would have been on par with anyones.

Can anyone hit me up on with info?

Yh ive heard that too, But ive never actually read the quote or heard him say it.

Anyway I can help out with this thread, cos I heard Nas talking about Big L, he was talking about the devils son etc. It was on some radio program before untitled came out. I heard it on youtube, I just looked for it again but couldnt find it. However I did use some of this in one of my videos. If you wanna skip it, then just go to 3:00 - 3.40

good looking out man, i really enjoyed the fat joe interview, and how he pushed joe to go hard on that song.

and from the shyheim interview, he said they did a couple tracks, but never finished them all the way. does that mean there are some collabs of shyheim and L out there that are unheard?

mom moms know who i am, cause she knows who she was fuckin wit.

Yeah Shyheim recorded like two or three songs with L besides Furious Anger but they went unfinished and the tapes are now lost and even Shy doesn't know where they're at. Hopefully they surface sometime.

hey big sleep, on the dj premier hour one tribute to L at some point i heard his big brother say that he had just found l's rhymebooks. did he say it was ten pages, or ten books? either way, is there any way any of his stuff will get showcased? maybe put a couple of the unheard verses in the cd booklet for his album thats supposed to come out.

mom moms know who i am, cause she knows who she was fuckin wit.

He said he found his all L rhyme books I'm pretty sure. It was like ten notebooks full up, like front and back, filled.

I've wondered that very thing and a while back asked Soobax to talk to Don about it, because if it was scanned or something, he could sell digital copies and it'd be pretty much all profit. Don't know if he would want to go that route or not but it's up to him and I know fans would be excited/purchase it for sure.

Honestly I don't think anything will come of it, though it would be amazingly nice to read some unrecorded lines or outtakes, different versions, stuff of that nature. Just seeing L's handwriting is cool enough.

So yeah, Don's got all that shit, what he choose to do with it is in his hands really. I'm skeptical as to our chances of seeing it but at the same time not trying to get my hopes up at the mere possibility of something this epic/historical seeing the light of day at some point.
